Grede Named 2011 Veteran Employer of the Year
Southfield, Mich. – December 1, 2011 – Grede has been named a 2011 Hire a Veteran Month, Business of the Year by Michigan Works! The Job Force Board. This statewide award is presented to companies that demonstrate commitment to hiring and supporting United States military veterans. The award was presented at the Grede Iron Mountain, Mich., facility on Tuesday, November 29.
In accepting the award, Randy Priem, general manager at the Grede Iron Mountain Division said, “It is an honor to receive this award and be recognized by our colleagues, friends and the local, state and national government for our ongoing support of veterans. We are grateful to them for their strong commitment to our country and we take pride is supporting and employing current and past members of the military at Grede.”
