Citation Corp.'s Butler Division Named Delphi "Best Supplier"
BUTLER, Ind. - Citation Corp.'s Butler Division has been named a 2005 Best Supplier to Delphi Energy and Chassis Systems in Saginaw, Mich.
The award is made each year to Delphi suppliers that provide products or services with an unquestioned commitment to customer service. In announcing the award for Citation's work with Delphi's Saginaw Plant 3 Car Organization, Delphi described Citation as "very responsive to our needs, proactively communicating issues as well as having a continuous improvement focus."
Citation's Butler Division provides Delphi with permanent molded aluminum cast knuckles used on the rear suspension of mid-size General Motors automobiles. The safety-critical casting was launched at Butler in 2002 using a state-of-the-art process and focused attention to detail and quality.
Besides the products made for the Saginaw Plant 3 Car Organization, Citation-Butler provides a number of high-profile customers with planet plates for air conditioning systems, differential brackets, lower control arms, rocker arms and valve bodies. Other customers include Enterprise Automotive, Hydro Aluminum, Linamar, Stanadyne and TRW.
Citation is a privately held corporation based in Birmingham, Ala.
