St. Cloud was acquired by Grede Foundries in 1995. The plant produces ductile iron castings in medium to high volume on both a Disamatic 2070 and BMD impulse molding center. Product is for automotive (Tier I and Tier II), farm equipment, construction, light construction, and other industries. | |||

Commitment to Safety, Quality Control, and the Environment
St. Cloud has maintained QS-9000 and ISO 14001 certification and has been safety certified in Grede's internal safety system. The St. Cloud foundry was the first foundry in Minnesota to be granted a Title V Clean Air Permit (1996). Commitment to Education and the Community St. Cloud offers semester-long internship programs for technical and engineering positions, and each summer students have the opportunity to participate in internships in a variety of positions within the organization. Summer employment is also available. | |||||
